The 510 connector Micro from ModMaker. Definitely one of the best, if not the best connector on the market. Compared to the already very good V1, a number of other improvements have been incorporated.
There is now a extra large solder hole for the connection of the plus cable. This allows cables of up to 10 AWG to be used. The connector width has been reduced to M10. So it fits also very well into small mods, respectively it stays more space in the mod
The housing is made of stainless steel for optimum durability. The two nuts are made of silver plated brass. The plus pole is completely made of copper for a particularly high conductivity. The Top Cap without washer has a thickness of 0.5mm, with additional washer of 1mm. Washer is available in sizes 18mm, 22mm, 24mm, 25mm and 30mm.
The insulator is made of PEEP reinforced with glass fiber. This results in a considerably higher strength and stiffness. It can be loaded with up to 300°C and permanently with up to 240°C for short periods. He is thus clearly superior to Delrin or Ultem. One O-ring on the positive pole and one O-ring on the isolator provide absolute tightness
Suspension is via a rigid wave spring (rings of corrugated flat wire) with a typical pressure of 4.2kg (42 N). This results in a very strong connection between the connector and the evaporator and reduced the voltage drop (volt drop).
